Sumatra is a 21st Century collection of tables made by Italian artisans in aluminium with an extraordinary Travertino white cream marble plane. It is part of the collectible design language Sumatra that has been developed by the Edizione Limitata’s art research team in Milan. The objects ground their elegance in the contrast between the smoothness of the stone and the materic texture of the alumium body.
This language is developed with the suggestion of a contrast between materials, where the organic design of marble is enclosed within a clear aluminum frame.
